Biography
Jaron Cannon is the principal pianist at Victory Baptist Church in Roseburg, OR. His father, William Cannon, has been the song leader since 1981. From a young age, Jaron expressed a desire to play music to the glory of God and began performing regularly at church, nursing homes, retirement centers, and community events with his sister Alyssa Cannon, a violinist.
He is a composer, arranger, and improviser with classical training. In 2017, he graduated
from Southern Oregon University with a BA in Music Performance, studying under Dr. Alexander Tutunov. In the summers of 2013 and 2014, he toured with West Coast Baptist College Harvest Trio as pianist. And in 2016, he officially opened his piano studio in Roseburg, OR.
